By setting the post date on post options to 2011, this post will always show up first as my blog's landing page. Then, you can click on labels to get to specific topics.

In order to post like this, you must first post at today's date. Then edit your post and change the date. in the post options.

Sample for permissions

This is my sample blog. For this post, I will label it Sample for permission. I will then use the label gadget to get a link to all of my sample for permission posts. This will allow them to all load on one page.
